My Manifesto as made aware to me 8/11/2020, taken from my journal. It seems like
it was written for today.

There is not an endless amount of time in our lives to
live, do, play, create, and love. Mom told me after Dad passed, “when love
enters your life, get as much of it as you can, because you never know how long
they will be with you.” I knew she was talking about Dad, their love and
marriage of 64.5 years, until his sudden passing in 2006.

Love enters our lives
in the form of people first and foremost. Only people were made in God’s image.
We can have love for pets and living creatures but it’s different and those too
are finite. We can have love for our work, projects, activities, and careers but
those too are different and limited. They can be satisfying, exciting, fun, and
be rewarding for others and ourselves; however, we become confused, led astray
when we put “love of pets” and “love of work” before the love of people, the
love of others. Sometimes we are hurt and wounded by people, so we cut ourselves
off from them and try to heal by loving pets, work, and things. But the love
between people is only replaceable by loving other people. Our love of pets and
work is a gateway for loving people more. Often a new couple will get a dog to
“practice” building a family, caring for something together. A great teacher and
creator said, “love your neighbor as you love yourself… Serve God with your
whole heart, soul, and mind.” These great commands were to help us set the right
priorities in our lives. We must remember “first things first” and that time
ends.
You have only a day’s worth of time today. Do all you can today. Don’t put
off until tomorrow what can be done today. Today you are here, tomorrow you may
not be. Get as much love as you can once you find it, once love enters your
life, because one day it will be gone. It will leave. It will pass away.
Amen lil sis ....u said it all.
